Brooklyn Ecopolis provides opportunities to sponsor individual program elements. In addition to receiving the benefits of general sponsorship, program sponsors will be recognized for the program area they’ve chosen to support.

Showroom Sponsorship $5,000 (4 spots available)

The Brooklyn Ecopolis Showroom is integrated into the sustainable café located on the ground floor. The Showroom will provide a variety of interactive and innovative exhibits and displays for sustainable products and energy-efficient solutions. In addition, valuable billboard space will be available along the perimeter of the space and in the glass storefront window, with immediate access to the high foot traffic on Smith Street and thousands of local residents using the subway entrance in front of the building each day.

Resource Center Sponsorship $2,500 (8 spots available)

The Brooklyn Ecopolis Resource Center is located on 2nd floor mezzanine level and includes educational and product exhibits, networking and event space.  The Resource Center is the cornerstone of all Brooklyn Ecopolis services and provides visitors access to on-line tools, technical guides and a range of other resources on sustainable products, programs, services, and materials. The library and on-line subscriptions will provide valuable research opportunities for the public, including students, local residents, business professionals, home owners, educators, and others. Resource Center Sponsors will be recognized prominently in the 2nd floor mezzanine, on the Brooklyn Ecopolis Website and BE Green© Resource Directory.

Internship Program Sponsorship $2,000 (3 spots available)

The BE Green© Internship Program will provide opportunities for young adults interested in sustainability to gain valuable work experience while supporting the programs and resources available at Brooklyn Ecopolis.  Interns will help develop Resource Center materials, maintain the BE Green© Samples Library, provide tours and information for visitors, and take on special projects. Sponsors of the intern program allow Brooklyn Ecopolis to support emerging professionals and enhance access to the valuable resources provided at the Center.

BE Green© Samples Library Sponsorship  $2,000 (4 spots available)

The BE Green© Samples Library is a product library containing physical samples and binders of locally available sustainable products and materials.  Products are screened to determine whether they meet Brooklyn Ecopolis’ sustainable standards.  Users will include home and business owners, architects, interior designers, entrepreneurs, students, educators, and others.  By sponsoring the BE Green© Samples Library you will be helping us provide easily accessible and free sustainable sample materials to the local community.

BE Green© HelpDesk Sponsorship   $2,000 (2 spots still available)

The BE Green© HelpDesk provides an unbiased, easily accessible local resource to provide information and referrals to local resources for technical or product information on sustainable innovations.. The BE Green© HelpDesk will be available during designated drop-in hours.  By sponsoring the BE Green© HelpDesk, you’re helping Brooklyn Ecopolis visitors have access to valuable support as they make sustainable choices for healthy living.

Training & Event Sponsors   $2,000 (4 spots still available)

Brooklyn Ecopolis will provide a number of local training programs, awareness-building activities and other events highlighting local opportunities to build a sustainable community. This will include information on locally available programs such as incentives and tax benefits for energy-saving equipment and art exhibits/installations highlighting sustainable innovations.  By sponsoring Training and Events, you are helping Brooklyn Ecopolis visitors to have access to education, information, and creative opportunities to provoke social action and adopt new behaviors to support local sustainability.

BE Green© Resource Directory Sponsors $500 - $1,000 (only 10 spots available)

The BE Green© Resource Directory is a wonderful opportunity to identify locally available products, programs, materials and services. This is more than a simple directory; it will provide a description of local resources and guide the community on how to access these resources. By sponsoring the BE Green© Resource Directory, you will provide availability of this very valuable free, unbiased information for the local community to support sustainable behavior and the local green economy.
